Contact: which route suits your question

A ticket from your account, your account manager, email or WhatsApp: the route that suits each kind of request, and what to include to get a useful first reply.

The essentials

What is it?
The different ways of reaching the team, and which one suits which problem. The general contact details — address and number — are shown at the foot of every page on this site; this page explains when to use them and when another route will be faster.
Who is it for?
Sellers with a question about an order, a payment or their account; people considering selling who want information before opening an account; journalists and prospective partners; and end customers, who should in fact contact the seller they bought from.
How does it work?
For an order, a ticket from the help and support area of the account: the message arrives with the order record attached, so there is no need to identify it. For a general enquiry, the contact address or WhatsApp number shown at the foot of the page. For a seller's activity, their account manager.
What is it for?
Because a question sent to the right place gets a useful answer first time. An order enquiry sent through a general channel starts with an exchange whose only purpose is to find out which order is meant — time lost for both sides.
How do you use it?
Give your public ID, in the form XXXX-XXXX, and the reference of the order concerned. Describe what you expected and what happened. Those three things are almost always enough for the first reply to be an answer rather than a question.

Requests to CODFamilia go through three distinct routes: a ticket from the account for anything about a specific order, the account manager for a seller's activity, and the general contact address for everything else.

Which route for which request

The channels are not interchangeable, and that is not an administrative rule: each one gives access to different information at the moment your message is read.

Your request The route to take Why that one
A specific order, a parcel, a return A ticket from your account The team sees the order record while reading the message
A profit, a statement, a withdrawal, an advance A ticket from your account Amounts are checked against your account, not from memory
Your activity, your results, advice Your account manager That is their role: they follow your activity over time
A question before opening an account The contact address or WhatsApp You have no account to write from yet
A partnership or a press enquiry The contact address The request is not about an order
A parcel ordered from a seller The seller you ordered from Only they can act on the order

The ticket from your account, and why it is quicker

The help and support area of the account lets you open a ticket and follow the exchanges on it. That is the route for any question about an order, a parcel, a return, an amount, a statement or a withdrawal.

The reason is simple and worth spelling out. A ticket opened from your account arrives already attached to your account: the team sees your orders, your statuses and your statements while reading your message. The same question sent through a general channel starts with an exchange whose only purpose is to establish who you are and which order you mean — adding delay before anyone has looked at the problem.

A ticket has a second advantage: it keeps a record. An exchange about a disputed parcel, a return fee charged, or a payment amount can be reread, and nobody has to remember what was said.

Your account manager

Every seller is looked after by an account manager, who handles a set of sellers. They are the person for anything larger than one order: making sense of a return rate that is getting worse, discussing a product, asking for a private product, or submitting a sourcing request.

The distinction from support is useful. Support handles a case: a parcel, an amount, a status. The account manager handles an activity: what keeps happening, what is improving, what has not been working for three weeks. Sending a parcel problem to one or a strategy question to the other works, but more slowly.

What to include so the first reply is useful

Most exchanges that drag on start with a message nothing can be done with. Four things are enough to avoid that.

  1. Your public ID — It takes the form XXXX-XXXX — two groups of four characters separated by a hyphen — and it is on your account. It identifies you to support and on payments.
  2. The order or parcel reference — A question about 'an order from last week' requires a search; a reference requires a click.
  3. What you expected, and what happened — Two sentences is enough. It is the gap between them that shows where to look.
  4. What you have already checked — The parcel status, the statement, the tracking page. It stops you being told what you already know.

You are a customer waiting for a parcel

If you have ordered a product and have a question about your parcel — where it is, when it will arrive, how much you will have to pay the courier, or how to cancel it — contact the seller you ordered from, not the platform.

That is not passing the buck, it is the only route that gets anywhere. The seller is your commercial counterpart: they set the price, they can amend or cancel the order, and they decide on any gesture of goodwill. The platform handles the logistics on their behalf, but cannot take a decision in their place on a sale that is not its own.

To simply find out where your parcel is, you need nobody: the public tracking page tells you, with no account to create. For a manual search you need both the order reference and its phone number, so that a guessed reference does not expose somebody else's parcel.

Press and partnerships

Press enquiries, partnership proposals and commercial approaches go through the general contact address shown at the foot of every page. State the subject in the first line: these are handled by different people from those handling tickets, and a clear subject line saves a step.

For a press enquiry, give the outlet, the subject and the deadline. The factual material on how the platform works — the business model, the roles, the chain of an order — is already set out on the page about the platform and can be quoted directly.

Frequently asked questions about support

How do I contact support?
From your account, in the help and support area: you open a ticket there and follow the replies. That is the route for any question about an order, a parcel, an amount or a withdrawal. The general contact details — address and number — are shown at the foot of every page on this site.
Why open a ticket rather than send an email?
Because a ticket opened from your account arrives with your record: the team sees your orders and statements while reading the message. An order question sent through a general channel starts with an exchange whose only purpose is to find the order in question.
What information should a ticket contain?
Your public ID in the form XXXX-XXXX, the order or parcel reference, what you expected, what happened, and what you have already checked. With those, the first reply is an answer rather than a request for details.
Where do I find my public ID?
On your account. It takes the form of two groups of four characters separated by a hyphen — XXXX-XXXX — and it identifies you to support and on payments.
What is my account manager for, as opposed to support?
Support handles one specific case: a parcel, an amount, a status. The account manager follows your activity over time: a return rate that is getting worse, the choice of a product, a request for a private product or for sourcing. Both work, but each is faster on its own ground.
I am a customer waiting for a parcel — who should I contact?
The seller you ordered from. They set the price and only they can amend or cancel the order; the platform handles the logistics on their behalf but does not decide in their place. To simply find out where your parcel is, the public tracking page tells you with no account needed.
Can I reach the team on WhatsApp?
The number shown at the foot of every page is for general questions, particularly before an account is opened. For an order a ticket is still better: it arrives attached to your record and it keeps a trace of the exchanges, which a conversation does not.
How long does it take to get a reply?
No time frame can honestly be quoted here, because it depends on the type of request and on the moment. What is verifiable is that a properly filled-in ticket — ID, reference, description — gets a useful reply sooner, because there is nothing to reconstruct before the problem can be dealt with.
